sort of falling in love all over again with this spread from oct in marie claire italia, filled with my favorite things -chunky knits, animal print and leather.
its been a while since i've last updated this thing, but since its my day off from my ridiculous work schedule i thought it'd be a nice change. it's been gloomy as always in san francisco and this wind never fails to provide amazing pictures specially at the beach. head down to pacifica/halfmoon bay to enjoy the fresh smell of sand and horse back riding (sounds like something i'd like to do more often).
if you're like me and don't really have $800+ lying around but would die to have a pair of acne boots, solestruck has officially found the answer for you. those senso boots, on the first picture are pretty dead on and the price tag isn't half as bad.
i've been kinda drooling over simple/plain things lately, you know without all the bling/ruffles/studs etc. while reading one of my fave sites notcouture (which you should go and visit right now, after you read this, of course)i found CLaer, created by the great Claudia Laermann(ex-creative head/designer for j.jil for 18 years!) and i'm in love, i don't own many simple things and knits but i'm def. going to start looking into this wonderfulness more often.
this image quality is crap, and completely ruins the amazing clothes maurie & eve have created for their winter 2010 collection. i took advantage of a lazy night, and searched everywhere for something i could put up here that would somewhat represent what i like/wish/want to wear on a daily basis and maurie & eve is exactly it. looking through their spring/fall/winter collection, i honestly could not find one thing that i would not wear (not even shoes, and i'm sorta picky about those). they're my favorite, hands down.
but...completely changing the subject. i'm going to start putting up more pictures of what i wear on a daily basis, that was the plan from the beggining anyway, and i hate that i haven't been doing what i set out to do. and i'm also going to put up pictures of all the wonderful things i've been purchasing over the summer at none other than my favorite place in the universe (aside from disneyworld), ebay.
the closest thing i would ever wear to a maxi dress (aside from the one christeric is selling on her blog). amazing dresses by charles anastase via maryam nassir zadeh
two words for this; freakin' badass. i have no problem, whatsoever, wearing glow in the dark bodycons, giant furry hoods and headpieces and neither should you. seriously too cool for school. via rachel freire
i can't wait to get my hands on ALL of these when they hit stores in the fall at gap. i need a fast forward button.....anyone know where i can get one?
...brian lichtenberg will be partnering up with forever 21 with a beyond gorgeous line that should be hitting stores on the 13th of august! can't wait to see this happen and of course to spend a little money on a designer i could obviously only afford in my afterlife or during a colab. like this one. via forever 21
i know this has to be the longest post ever, but i couldn't pick just two or three because everything from kimberly ovitz fw 2010 is so gorgeous, drapey and perfect that i wish i found a way to have them all in my closet and if i did, it would probably be worn 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (and yes, even to bed).
is it just me, or does this look way too identical? love nastygal/forever 21, it's about time they came "together" for the perfect crochet knit. one thing though, one is $30 and the other $52.
